The DZe-START system has been designed for the management of starting traffic light systems, for both car and motorcycle races, in compliance with the Annexe’s FIA Annex H 2.4.6 and FIM Standards for Circuits 11.1.1 appendices.
STARTING LIGHTS
The system is set up to manage the procedures of:
• Pre-start and start for FIA and CSAI races starting with 5 red lanterns, in sequence or simultaneous;
• Pre-start and start for FIM and FMI races, start with red simultaneous lanterns;
•Acoustic signals for pre-start;
• Management of the pit lane traffic light;
• CPU positioned at the base of the Main Starting lights in his own electrical box;
• 1 or 2 pit lane (Exit and/or Entry CPUs to control pit lane lights);
• Al camera detection system for vehicle detection;
• Main pit lane horn for starting procedures and pit lane horns to inform vehicle entry in the pit lane;
• Race Director console that allows full control over the entire system;
• Race Control Software and Touchscreen PC;
• Pit lane consoles with ON/OFF LED buttons.
The system is designed so that each step of the standard start procedures can have modifiable activation timing directly from software. This allows for a fully customizable experience by the user based on the event required or day-by-day track activities.
Each part of the system is able to communicate stand-alone with its own keyboard even in the case of network failure.
The same part also acts as a back-up in case of failure of the central system, allowing for a manual control on the light lanterns.
